Volleyball party for 200 youngsters at CEV Summer Festival in Albania

Divjakë, Albania, August 20, 2016. On Saturday as many as 200 young players took part in the CEV Youth Summer Festival organised by the Albanian Volleyball Federation in Divjakë, a town situated on the Adriatic Sea coast. The young participants were divided into four age groups – i.e. U12, U14, U16 and U18 – in what was a celebration of what Volleyball and Beach Volleyball are all about: fun, friendship, team work and fair play.
The young players in attendance came from all over the country, and more specifically from the towns of Pogradec, Lezha, Mirdita, Durrës, Lushnjë, Krutje, Fier, Elbasan, Himara, Kucova, Vlorë and – of course – Divjakë. They all contested a number of matches in their respective age group.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Devjakë, Fredi Kokoneshi, the President and Secretary General of the Albanian Volleyball Federation, Erlind Pellumbi and Albens Vokopola, as well as by a member of the Albanian Volleyball Federation Executive Committee, Mrs Gentiana Nicaj.
The Albanian Volleyball Federation would like to thank the CEV for their support in the organisation and delivery of this event as well as all participants for the enthusiasm they showed while performing along with their peers, wishing each and every participant the best of luck for their future in the sport.
