CEV Youth Summer Festival coming up soon in Zagreb!
News from the National Federations

Zagreb, Croatia, August 29, 2016. After successfully playing host to a CEV Youth Summer Festival in 2014 as well as in 2015, another such event will be taking place in Croatia for a third straight year. The goal is to further popularise Volleyball and Beach Volleyball by making sure young people socialise and have fun while playing the game.

This year’s mass-participation event will also promote the city of Zagreb and more specifically the local Beach Volleyball centre where the festival will be taking place. The organisers together with the Croatian Volleyball Federation will be using this as an opportunity to gather young people who are interested in sports, to promote a healthy lifestyle and to celebrate Beach Volleyball in a spirit of friendship and fair play.

The festival will start on September 3 and reach its climax one week later on Friday, September 9. The goal is to gather some 500 children aged 8 to 18. The event is open also to young players from abroad and as a result National Federations are invited to register their clubs, teams and / or individual players. All participants will receive a souvenir at the end of the tournament which will be capped by an unforgettable closing ceremony.

Further information is available on the official website and on Facebook. The event will be extensively promoted on social media where pictures will be posted along with the official hashtags #SeeUsPlay and #odbojkanapijesku.
