Youngsters play Volleyball under the stars in Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki, Greece, June 20, 2017. It is that time of the year when children in Thessaloniki have many opportunities to play Volleyball. At the end of a very exciting and busy season, the AIAS Evosmou Volleyball club organised the fifth edition of the so-called “Night Volley” festival.

The event took place on Saturday, June 17 and it attracted the young players of AIAS Evosmou as well as of many more clubs based in Greece’s second-largest city. They all enjoyed the unique experience resulting from playing their favourite game under the stars while listening and dancing to cool music. The event continued for several hours and it finished with souvlaki – a popular Greek food consisting of small pieces of meat and vegetables grilled on a skewer – offered to all players with the best wishes for a happy summer season!
